Falu Red colour blanket Hemlängtan 135x200 cm

Falu Red colour's blankets and seat cushions are double woven with two-thread wool yarn on wool throws in Jacquard looms. The density and choice of wool guarantee the excellent quality. The element of wool yarn is 14-16 per cm. It can be compared to regular plaids that have about 5 elements per cm. It is therefore the density - the number of elements per cm - that constitutes the quality difference. The wool comes from sheep that go out all year under harsh weather conditions. They develop a thick cover wool, whose fibres have very good insulation and heat-retaining properties. When the blankets and seat cushions are finished being woven, they are washed and incubated and then plant dried. Then, steam is injected to make the fabrics as fluffy, soft and warm as possible. Finally, the products are hand edged and the brand label is sewn on.
