Manufacturing is done using the ancient method of forming in sand. We mix sand, molasses and water to make the sand mould and to keep it together. Once the mould has dried, the metal is melted and poured into the moulds. Once the metal has cooled, the mould is broken and the cast is removed. A new mould must therefore be made for each candlestick. A fantastic Swedish craft of which we are proud.
