Mora knife now comes with a brand new updated models in the Classic series. The knives have new knife blades and are polished on the knife back, new stained shafts and new updated knife sheaths that are also polished and have a leather strap.
This is the traditional Mora knife in its purest form and has been used for generations by carpenters and craftsmen. We understand why and think that our classic red knife plays a practical as well as aesthetic function. This versatile knife has a 106 mm long blade.
The blades in Morakniv Classic are made of carbon steel, which makes the knife easy to sharpen but requires more maintenance when exposed to moisture or in stressful environments - making sure the blade is clean and dry, reducing the risk of corrosion.

This knife has been developed and refined for more than a century and used for generations by carpenters and craftsmen. The fact that they have been a hit with the users is often explained by the fact that the knives are nice to work with and have the right feeling. The red wooden handle is made of painted birch. The blade is made of carbon steel, which makes it easy to sharpen - just remember that it requires maintenance! Wipe it off and preferably oil it after use.
This knife cannot be used with spark steel
This knife is for construction and craft work. This means that we have prioritised a sharp and durable edge together with a firm grip, which means that the appearance of the blade back is not given as much space. If you use our building and craft knives in contexts other than those intended, remember that most of them have this unpolished blade back - it cannot be used with spark steel.
