Beskrivning av Mora knife - Eldris

Moravknife Eldris' colours are taken from the places around us, from our history. The blackness of coal is never far away if you venture out into the forests around Mora. Suddenly you pass an old coal bottom or the remains of a coal pit.
The Dala red colour is probably best known from the colour that picked up its pigment in Falugruvan's copper. Ever since the 18th century, the red cottages with white knots have spread across the country and also become an international symbol for Sweden and Dalarna.

Like the Dala red colour, we also have a Dala blue, which can be seen through everything from building details to clothes. Not least, it is found in our landscape coat of arms together with the crossed arrows and the royal crown. The moss green colour is taken from the nature and the unique environments that fill the surroundings around Lake Siljan. In the deep forests we find both peace and inspiration for this shade of green. Finally, we have the yellow gold doll, taken from the 17th century Dala paintings, as well as the folk costumes that people in Mora have worn since time immemorial.
