Skeppsljusstake i mässing, ett gediget hantverk. Stående eller för upphängning.
Höjd 135 mm, diameter 120 mm.
Tillverkningen sker med den urgamla metoden att forma i sand. Sand blandas med melass och vatten för att sanden ska gå att forma och att den håller ihop.
När formen har torkat smälts metallen och hälls i formarna. När metallen svalnat slås formen sönder och det gjutna tas ut. En ny form måste alltså göras för varje ljusstake.

Manufacturing is done using the ancient method of forming in sand. We mix sand, molasses and water to make the sand mould and to keep it together.
Once the mould has dried, the metal is melted and poured into the moulds. Once the metal has cooled, the mould is broken and the cast is removed. A new mould must therefore be made for each candlestick.
