Leksandsfilten - Rosengång

Now here it is, a new lovely colour scheme of the Leksans felt. The name is Rosengång. The inspiration for the Leksand blankets is taken from Dalarna's pattern treasures and is designed by Mia Svalänge, Lycka Form. Nowadays, the blanket is produced by Crona Craft in collaboration with Mia, who is responsible for the design. This blanket is inspired by a fabric from Leksand which is today at the County Museum Gävleborg. The weave is a reworking of Gustaf Ankarcrona's own colour scheme and it was exhibited at the Nordic Museum 1957-1958. The Leksand blanket is produced in Norwegian Röros by Röros Tweed. Röros Tweed is a modern company with a long history. The blankets are woven from two-thread new Norwegian wool yarn on a wool warp. It is wool in both loom and weave. Measure: 200x130 cm
